This week we have been concentrating on foliage, so in groups we conducted research into the way foliage is conveyed in video games.
We used qualitive and quantitive research for this task and did it in to different forms, we used a paper questionnaire and we also used survey monkey.
I have taken images from 3 games and 1 photo, the games I looked at are Crash Bandicoot, Tomb Raider 5 Chronicles and The Last of Us and compared them to a photo of a Japanese abandoned theme park.

3D models designed on a computer is an illusion of a 3D shape unlike where a 3D model made in real life is actually a 3D form. I used primary research to create this box as I have made them previously at school for various design purposes mainly in CDT and Art.
The difference between primary and secondary research is that primary research is information you find out for yourself direct from the source whereas secondary research could be someone’s opinion or a review about a certain product you would like to buy in a magazine.
